Abouna George was born on June 18, 1950 in Alexandria, Egypt where he graduated from the Medical School of Alexandria. After moving to Philadelphia in 1983, Abouna pursued a medical career for about 15 years. On July 12th, 1997 Father George Greiss was ordained a Priest and sent to establish the first Coptic Church in Bayonne, New Jersey. With God's grace & strength, Abouna has been serving St. Abanoub & St. Antonious Church for 12 years.
